Dominick Calabria, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. CalabriaDominick A. Calabria, is a Magna cum laude graduate of St. Peter’s College in Jersey City. Dr. Calabria received his medical degree from St. Louis University in Missouri cum laude and selected alpha-omega-alpha. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence; he also held a Fellowship in the Department of Cardiology. Dr. Calabria is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and is also certified by the Board of Phlebology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, as well as a Member of the Florida and Manatee County Medical Societies. Dr. Calabria has served as Vice Chief of Staff (1991-1992), Director of Cardiology (1995-1996), and is the current Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Columbia Blake Medical Center, having been instrumental in its development. Dr. Calabria participates in cardiovascular research activities and teaching; having assisted Dr. Batey in the development of the first school in the world to train pacemaker technologists.
