E.J. Sanchez, M.D.

Dr. SanchezDr. Sanchez  joined The Cardiovascular and Vein Center in July 1994. He received his undergraduate degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, New Jersey, and his Doctor of Medicine degree at Universidad Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Sanchez completed his internship, residency and cardiology fellowship at St. Vincent’s Medical Center of Richmond at Staten Island, New York, a New York Medical College Program. He also completed a nuclear cardiology fellowship at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, a University Hospital of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He received The Intern of the Year Award and was Chief Medical Resident while at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.

Dr. Sanchez is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and certified by the Board of Phlebology. He is a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, Society of Nuclear Medicine and the American College of Physicians, as well as a Member of the Florida and Manatee County Medical Societies.  Dr. Sanchez is a Registered Vascular Technologist and Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.
